The 4th SCOM meeting of the ICTr project took place from 15-16 May in Valtice (Czech Republic).
The ICTr project focuses on the creation of innovative and sustainable tourism products along the EuroVelo 13 – Iron Curtain route.
In addition to discussing and planning future activities and achievements of the project, there was also time to relax.
After the meetings, at the end of the first day we had the opportunity to visit the Baroque Palace Theatre , renovated in 2015, and the CHÂTEAU VALTICE wine cellars.
On the second day, during the morning, we discussed the future activities of the project and as part of the programme we visited the herb garden of Lu & Tiree Chmelar , part of the Lednice-Valtice estate and park, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, the partners cycled together along the EuroVelo 13 – Iron Curtain route along the Czech-Austrian border in the Valtice area. The Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape is an exceptional example of a planned cultural landscape, made particularly impressive by the number and diversity of its cultural and natural elements.
