The 2nd SCOM meeting was held in Portoroz (Slovenia) by the partners of the ICTr project between 26-27 september, 2023, with the participation of the CROST team. The ICTr project is a transnational Interreg project of the Central Europe Programme with 12 partners from 9 nations, which is dedicated to further development of Europe’s longest long distance bike path, the Iron Curtain Trail. Our host was the Faculty of Tourism of the University of Primorska, who put together a very colourful programme for the participating partners. In addition to the experiences of the first period and the review and detailed analysis of the Work Packages, there was also time for a cross-country cycling tour (Eurovelo 8 – Health and Friendship Route Parenzana) and a visit to the Sečovlje Salina Nature Park. Thanks to the excellent organisation to the UP-FTS! The SCOM meeting organised by the Czech partners will be the next opportunity for the partners to share their experiences in person, in May 2024.
