On October 16-17, we visited Moravske Toplice (Slovenia) for the 5th partner meeting organized within the framework of the TRANSGEO project supported by the Interren Central Europe Program. On the first day of the two-day program, we held joint consultations, and on the second day, we visited interesting sites related to the project’s theme. We would like to thank the organizers (LEA Pomurje) for the extremely colorful program!
The partners have had a really busy period, with lots of tasks to complete since our last face-to-face meeting. In addition, the end of the project is fast approaching, so there is still a lot of work to be done by all partners.
We spent the first day of the meeting in discussions, and the partners responsible presented the tasks/activities that are currently underway and those that still lie ahead. Among other things, the webinar held in October was evaluated, where the IT tool developed during the project and the jointly prepared Transnational Strategy were presented to the stakeholders, and the partners agreed on the outline of the Action Plan to be prepared in the next period, as well as the dates of the upcoming workshops/conferences. The partners concluded the day-long meeting with an Executive Board meeting.

The first stop on the second day was Lendava, where we heard an interesting presentation about the Pg-8 borehole in the Čentiba settlement and had a chance to see the site. After the presentation, the partners had a chance to ask questions as well.

Afterwards, we listened to several presentations at Hotel Cubis, including a detailed presentation on the local geothermal situation and the local library, where a paraffin-based latent heat storage system connected to the Lendava geothermal district heating system operates.

After the presentations, we had the opportunity to visit the library, where we were given another detailed overview of its development and operation, and we also had the opportunity to see the paraffin-based latent heat storage system.
