Over three days in early December, InnoCoop partners from six European countries gathered in Kaunas to explore one of Lithuania’s most dynamic innovation environments. ![]()
Organised by Tech-Park Kaunas, the visit offered a close look at how technology can support innovation across sectors. From cutting-edge strawberry cultivation at Freya Cultivation Systems to AI-powered wildlife monitoring by Agrodronas, from microbial biotechnology at Nando to creative food innovations and lifestyle medicine pilots, the programme highlighted the diversity and ambition of the Kaunas ecosystem.
What did we take away?
A clearer picture of Kaunas’ R&D strengths
Fresh ideas for cross-border cooperation
Inspiration for future exchanges and joint initiatives
A shared motivation to keep strengthening Europe’s regional innovation ecosystems
A big thank you to our hosts and all participating organisations. Many partners are already planning their return — both to deepen professional collaboration and to experience more of Lithuania’s vibrant innovation and wellness offers.
