The opening event of the “Amazon of Europe BT HU-HR” project – which aims to develop cycling tourism and organise the available attractions into a transnational product in the Hungarian-Croatian border region – was held on 6 November 2025 at Kurija Janković in Kapela Dvor. The event was attended by the whole partnership, both from the Hungarian and Croatian sides, as well as representatives of the Széchenyi Program Office. At the meeting the partners reviewed the tasks to be carried out within the framework of the project, including the ongoing investments. The staff of CROST Nonprofit Ltd. presented the past projects of the Amazon route and the planned schedule of service development, communication and promotion activities, which are to be implemented under the coordination of CROST.
